Nice video.
Outside of the superstars (Mona Lisa, Venus), the subjects whose painters I recognized most immediately (e.g. Matisse, Dali) were those which were ‘quirkiest,’ not necessarily those I would call ‘most beautiful’. Is this capable of being rendered into a metaphor for strategies of sexual selection? :-) [The body type which is most typical faces the heaviest competition, so risks being overlooked, the one which is most eccentric will be noticed but often rejected as failing to meet standard.]
