Ah, polygenism, the same argument used by their intellectual ancestors (the slave owning class) to assuage their latent guilt over slavery. Most historical debated over slavery from the 1840s and 1850s will showcase a slave owner referencing this same line of argument, at odds (usually with a quaker) who advances the more conventional religious argument for monogenism.

Regarding the Hitler quotes, I wouldn’t expect much consistency. Hitler showed himself quite willing to use any ideology, from Christ to Darwin, to advance his ultimate goals. Mein Keimpf has plenty of references to God (although the word is used quite vaguely) as well as to nature and an idea that can best be summed up as survival of the fittest (the idea that the “races” are in a constant struggle between destroyers of culture and creators of culture).
